Once your companions are done shopping, you decide to buy a few different blends for yourself; if not for their beneficial properties, then at least to have something on hoof to drink that is more flavourful than tepid water.

You trade 80 Zen for 2 Blends of Flowery Speech, 2 Blends of Keen Awareness, 2 Blends of Steel Nerves, and 2 Blends of Vibrant Imagination.

Shopkeeper: "Thank you! Many thanks! Will that be all?"

You nod, and while putting away your purchase into your sidereal bag, you ask the shopkeeper if she knows how these tea blends compare to magic potions with similar effects.

Shopkeeper: "Magic potions? I would love to know as well! What can you tell me about them?"

Considering the earlier conversation about the blend of westwind relief, you pick mare's poison as an example, and explain how it immediately triggers a mare's diestrous phase.

Shopkeeper: "Ah, that sounds a little intense, doesn't it? Tea certainly is slower to act, so it can be rather subtle at first — but on average, you should feel the full effect after an hour or two, depending on how much you've eaten, and how fast you drink."

And unlike potions, you assume that you shouldn't drink tea all in one go.

Shopkeeper: "Hehe! Oh, goodness, no! Tea is meant to be enjoyed. Well... if that's how you enjoy it, then I suppose there's no harm in that. Digestion takes time, either way."

As for the effects, you wonder how strong you should expect those to be.

Shopkeeper: "Strong enough to be noticeable! You shouldn't expect anything permanent, however; once the effect wears off — typically after one full day —, then things go back to normal.

If one cup somehow isn't strong enough for you, then feel free to have another! Just be aware that your body can only hold so much liquid."

You nod, and with no more immediate questions, you thank the shopkeeper with a shared bow.

Shopkeeper: "You're welcome. See you again! Bye-bye!"

Your party bids her farewell, then exits the teahouse. While Moonflower finishes her cup of iced tea, you sit outside in the morning sunshine, and plan your next move.
